The Moment of Magic
Eszter points to her heart when she says:
“I, I felt the moment in myself when I did magic”.
She is five years old. We believe her. The story was born to the sound of Händel’s concerto: five people were dancing it.
“A splinter, a little piece of dirt fell into people’s hearts and they lost their sight and hearing and their hearts froze. And they died.” “The queen was kidnapped. Her hair was being combed when I snatched her out of their hands. I, I felt the moment in me when I did magic.”
Do we, the spectators, feel Eszter’s magic inside us; the moment, that sacred moment?
