The Art of Teaching II.
Beautiful sounds come from my experiences. It is not silence but the polyphony of nature made up of the sounds of breezes, blasts of air, splashes of water, buzzing, cracking, chirping, rustling, swishing, and humming. I perceive the sound not only with my ears, but somehow through my skin, to the marrow of my bones, to my veins and body liquids. I am much more sensitive to sound than to spectacle which I can escape by closing my eyes.
